I have all packs and kits and haven't considered disabling or uninstalling any of them.
I have one save (plus copies) and have been playing it for six years. I have 209 sims, 70 families. I only play 4 of those families, all related. The rest are background sims, and un-played relatives who still play a significant role in my gameplay. I have deleted most of the earlier premade sims but now I keep most of them.
I haven't noticed any lag with loading.
This is very similar to how I play my game.
I don't experience lag or crashing in the game either. There's no reason for me to uninstall.
