Yeah, I would be heartbroken as well. It's not good to put all eggs (sims?) in one basket. But I like to see my sims and sims from the gallery in the worlds, not randomly generated sims.
Yeah, still wish there was way to disable randomly generated sims all together and I could assign those NPC roles they spawn for to my existing sims, would make life so much easier 😅 but I do delete them after every session to keep them in check.
I back up my save regularly too but yeah very much one basket situation here as well 😅
Which is why I've been trying to finish some of my eternity builds lately to get them on gallery at very least 💀 like with sims I'm very much " Oh well I suppose I'll start this family over then" but losing all the builds would be whole another nightmare to deal with 😅
