- I do sort of have this bug but it’s not as excessive as the examples posted here. The queued list never goes off the screen but every time my sim gets near one of their pets, they’ll want to pet them like 3 times. Or every time they finish an action they’ll want to pet their pet right after. It’s not so bad for me that I can’t play, but it is rather annoying. :/
- Yes! Sooo much. I thought my sims were just too attentive to their pets. One of my households has 3 cats and it's a never ending nightmare!
- ADashofAsh90Seasoned VanguardI've noticed this too, even for pets who don't already have the affectionate/loyal trait. Getting frustrating, I tweeted Grant.
- burnished_dragonNew SpectatorMine all seem to be getting sick - a lot. At least two trips to the vet per 1 sim week rotation.
Oh wait I don't have Season - so was it one of the patches? - Got it with the dog now. It's actually beyond a joke.

The 'pet me' actions just stream up and up to the point I can't do anything as my Sim's queue is full. - I'm glad to see that it's not just happening in my game... also, I'm happy to know that it's NOT because I gave my cat the 'Affectionate' trait. I understand the concept of pets needing attention, but OMG! This has been extremely annoying! I hope they fix this issue soon! Until then, I guess I'll just have to deal with the mod that prevents it. It's so sad that we actually need to resort to using mods that do a better job at fixing problems with the game all because the developers won't fully test their games before releasing them. The Sims is one of the worst games ever when it comes to glitches and bugs!
Sadly, this is only one of many bugs that have come with 'Seasons' and the recent patch. "tobumon;c-16571472" wrote:
I can't believe you guys instantly get rid of your pets once they 'become annoying.' I hope you don't do this with real pets. I would never abandon my SimDogs Buddy and Darnell due to bugs!!!
Oh, give me a break! These are literally virtual pets we're talking about... in other words, they have no actual feelings. If putting a pet up for adoption in the game is what helps people actually be able to enjoy playing their game without the constant interruptions from a certain bug, then who cares? This specific bug is extremely annoying... you act like people should just not eat, sleep, etc... and just pet their dog or cat 24/7 (which is basically what this bug has been causing our Sims to do).- My pets stopped being 'extra needy.' Also, you guys don't seem to love your SimPets as much as your SimHumans. Simpets are my life, 'cause I can't get real pets. I'd never give them up, even with glitches.
SimPet lives matter. - BlueSeaWavesSeasoned AceI don't see it as my pet being needy, more so the problem is with the sims needing to constantly pet them.I got pets just before seasons so I wasn't used to them, but I don't have a problem with them now. It stopped though, but it was annoying they constantly wanted to pet the dog.
- DeKaythePUNKSeasoned VanguardNope. I'm not seeing this bug. Weird but I should be oh so blessed cuz right now, my sim's house has nothing much other than a food bowl and a cheap litter box. XD
