HELP Is It Possible To Change the Household Name on a Lot?

Question

I'm uncertain if it is because she proposed to him that caused the lot they moved into to be in her maiden name. I also noticed she doesn't carry his last name, after the wedding. I failed to check to see if he's carrying her name. I'm vexed. I'm very much Old School and this is unacceptable. Their wedding was a disaster as it was, besides the lot being in the wrong family name. I moved them in together so I could control their wedding plans. But I do believe I slid him over first, for what it's worth.

What I really need to know is if there is a way to 'fix' this mess? I am having a great time with her brother, whom I also moved into the lot to have control. (Yes, I'm a bit of a control-freak.) I went back a save to help fix the couple's problem, but realize that dismisses all that her superstar brother has been through, which makes me sad. I was having such a blast. His little sister surely messed that up with her wedding woes. LOL

Help me, please. I can carry on with the rolled back save, but I don't expect things to play out the way they have with her brother and his dating mishaps.

Is there any way to rename the household on the lot? Please, and thank you, in advance!

You can change the household name under "My Households" in Manage Worlds. You can change the name of the lot in Build Mode (there is a box at the top left of the screen).
As for last names, I think it takes time for the game to process, even if you have it set up for one partner to take the other's last name. I am also old-fashioned, and have MCCC set up for the female to take the male's last name, but I've noticed once I marry one of the adult children off, the female doesn't have the husband's last name right away, but eventually it shows her as having his last name. You could always also change it in CAS full edit mode. Hope that helps!

Thank you @ladysweettart I'll give that a try and see if it amends my situation. The lot still bears it's correct name, but I discovered the problem when I decided to have their wedding at their castle. It still says Grayson Castle, but in the Event menu it's listed as a Cantrell household. Should be Talek Sen Dene. Face/palm. I already have two Cantrell households as the eldest son just moved out! This could get really confusing, really fast.

UPDATE: @ladysweettart It Worked! Thank you for helping me salvage my game save! The husband still bore his surname. I changed his wife's surname to his in CAS and in Manage Worlds I changed the name of the household on their lot to Talek Sen Dene. Then I picked up where I'd left off. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
