Not to me. Kind of goes against the tagline "you rule".
All sims are bissexuals by default, you change this via romantic interactions...
I would say all the teen/adult sims are ONLY plum because a straight sim can become gay.
Plum or not. It actually happens in real life, too. I know a few who has been straight and later in their grownup lives became gay.
