Seasons is about weather not a beach vacation. It won't open up the beaches or come with ocean swimming.

And, as far as hints are concerned, we've had the tiki bar from day one, so if it's a hint, it's a very slow one.

The tiki bar was probably from the scrapped idea of a "Polynesian Expansion" back when they still considered The Sims 4 to have you pay a monthly fee in order to play with expansions.

You don't know that any of that is true, it's just a bad guess on your part, not fact.

I don't think it was because a Beach Pack Concept Art got leaked which means one is being worked on as we speak. The leak was quickly removed.

Unfortuanly that wasn't mentioned in the news on what the Nov Update is bringing however we will no longer have to go to CAS in new games as we'll be taking to the neighborhood which is what I've been wanting.

Yep. This makes me even more sure that the next game pack will be tropical related.

Why would they include an image of palms and a beach in a non-tropical world? :)
The beach makes kind of sense, since Cavalier Cove is a beach neighborhood, but there are no palms in this world!

No not November update, I meant before that vacation EP launch, probably next quarter maybe in January, then all these weather hints will make sense, though I was on a type train for rain to be patched this November as a pre pets patch but looks like that's not going to happen sadly..

I still don't think we'll get a Tropical Pack till closer to Summer but unless we get a Dating Pack I hope I'm wrong.

Maybe a Honeymoon Game Pack with a tropical world

There is a difference between "hints" and "referencing outside the game".
I mean, would you really consider Pet hints that we got in Get To Work, hints, when we didn't get them until 3 years later?

The Sims has always referenced the real world, without providing the content to go alongside.

We had Billboards about tropical holidays in City Living, yet did we get a Tropical holiday? Nope.


I think people set themselves up to get hyped when they probably shouldn't. This was probably made by an art team, and thrown in early on.
I mean we have heaps of decorative items that don't reference the game at all.

I still remember that concept art that was shown of an ocean and beach themed objects we currently don't have now. This was shown before Dine Out released. I think it was leaked but it's disappeared. I still think this is coming in a Gamepack next year.
