Household no longer have social interactions!

I have installed Growing Together and playing with my favorite family. Other than the few glitches from GT, my game was running fine. I've had GT for almost 2 weeks now. I always save my game during and after playing. On Saturday, I restarted my computer for it's update, then went to play theSims. Upon picking up where I left off, I noticed the mother Sim had no social interaction with her infant. She no longer had friends in her club; no friends nor any acquaintances. The entire household no longer have any social interactions. I have checked my mods, repaired my game 5or 6 times, and recovered my game... still no social interactions. Please help me!

  • Try going back to an earlier save. Did you use cas fulleditmode to change traits, by chance? I'm not sure if it affects all of that, but it can cause issues right now.

Also, take out your mods, delete cache files and see if it's still a problem. Check AHQ if so.
  • Thanks for your quick reply!
I did not change any traits in cas. I went back to an earlier save. I do not delete cache files. Should I delete the cache folder or the files in the folder? By deleting, will I lose my household?
  • Delete the file named localcachefile. There are others you can clear as well, here's a link to help. https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/help/cache.php
  • Sounds like a mod that needs to be updated?

There is a known bug with sims who have fame and/or the Beloved reward trait being unable to interact with their infants and toddlers

Yours seems like a more severe issue though so I think it's a mod.

  • For any mod or CC users, the localthumbcache file should be deleted whenever your mod folder or game changes. Your game will generate a new one when you start it up again. So if you remove, add or update a mod, delete that file. When there's a patch, delete that file. If you repair your game, delete the file. I've made a habit of deleting it once in a while to refresh it, even when I stopped using mods. For some reason, that little file can cause issues.
  • My sims had no interactions with their infant after she aged up from a newborn, but I found that if I used the infant to request things from them instead of them clicking on the infant, it properly introduced them and now they can interact with her. It doesn't solve all the issues you're having unfortunately but I wanted to share that little bit of advice at least
