I put a "military base" in StrangerVille because I want my sim to have a Military club and meet at the military base. The game does not allow me to have a generic lot as a meeting place within the club system. If I make it a park, or anything else, civilian sims who are not military will come in. Are there any other options?

First, I have to say how annoyed I am that EA fixed the generic lot problem in a patch and then broke it in a later patch...My suggestion is to place the club doors on the building and set them so that only your club can enter. Civilians will still come to the lot, but they can't get in.

You can set any door as a club door. Just have your Sim travel there and lock all doors that lead outside so that they allow only the club members.

You could make it a park type lot and one of the traits can be private dwelling. I had to do that for a wedding venue, and I just built a basement without stairs and put all the park items in there. And then do what others said about the door.

I’m curious, what is the Military lot called in the gallery? I was wanting to place a mikitary lot now that I have completed the mystery.

So if I set the military base to a park and lock the doors to only military personnel, does this mean a flock of other Sims will be standing outside the door lurking? lol

I'm doing something similar in my game except I'm using a military base as a residential lot for my military sims to live at from time to time.

I was wondering if it would work with any door. It's been so long since I've used them, I wasn't sure.

Hmm, I'd do it as a residential Place. and Have one of the club members be like a Full time Security Guard/Caretaker of the Base. and then they gather there.
