How long does it take to get a blind date opportunity?

Anyone know?

It's random. Try befriending new sims to have more sims offer a blind date.

You can get setup by a stranger that text you.

I have had that in the past with a non famous sim but I think the frequency is completely random.

Okay, someone on these boards said that you have to allow your Sims' cell number to be shared when they get texted and are asked about that. It's supposed to set them up for a blind date. Well, my Global Superstar with a Pristine Reputation has allowed for that, finally. (I was saying no mostly because he's got that quirk about phone numbers being public.) So far, nothing. He could use a blind date or two, as well. He got engaged to the same Sim twice and it's an epic fail. They finally broke up, this time for good. Erik just needs a date!

I mean, seriously, he's cute! Sweet, rich, polite, a real gentleman, and he's got talent, too. His biggest drawback is his fans love him, a bit too much and he knows they made him famous, so yes, he mingles with them. :open_mouth: Oh, the horror of it all, what is he thinking? LOL

Yes, I finally have my Rock Star back!

I'm very happy at the moment. I went ahead and created a sixth possible spouse for Erik yesterday. Today while playing my game, Tillie showed up at his concert and he walked over to meet her. I saved and exited my game because the event menu disappeared for Harvest Day and his concert menu never did show up. I'm hoping when I go back into the game it will show he at least 'knows' Tillie.

Only celebs can allow their number to be shared am I correct? I thought this could happen to sims who wern't celebs as well.

@catloverplayer I wish I could answer that question. I know they can get a Quirk about their phone number being released. That was one of the first quirks he got. He gets all kinds of phone calls. Some saying, "Oh, this is Erik oh wow …" or words to that effect. It's really funny when it's his mom calling. Face/palm.

I've had one sim get asked to go on a blind date, she was a celeb at the time, but have not had any other sims asked yet, but just for making new friends, they have gotten that one more. I, too, wish the blind date would show up more often, it's a cool new feature.

It seems pretty random to me but Ive heard that the more Sims you know, the bigger the chance of it happening.
