How should Alexander get his voice back?
In my story, Alexander Zalrian (Formerly Alexander Goth) exchanged his voice for a chance to be with the girl he is crushing on. He had a fight with his Uncle, Kemps Zalrian, before impulsively going to an Evil Sea Witch for help. Now, Alexander is struggling to communicate his feelings to Ember Pel'Ana, but there will come a time when Alexander gets his voice back. The question is: How?
Damion, the Evil Sea Witch, is not the type to just give back something he takes as payment for his services. He might make a trade though.
The first option will involve Kemps making the trade to get his nephew's voice back. I thought about possibly having Calum do it, but I don't think Calum would given his history with Damion. Kemps is protective enough and cares enough about his family that he would willingly make a bad choice if it helped them. I do have an idea of how Kemps might step in to make that trade. Kemps's Voice in exchange for his Nephews. The Voice of an Ancient Merman is more valuable to Damion than the Voice of a Merboy.
On the other hand, there could be a new antagonist that comes into the story and ends up getting Alexander's Voice back from Damion. This antagonist angers Damion and starts to give Alexander Problems. Damion becomes a temporary ally to get back at the antagonist that stole from him. Damion doesn't forgive, so the fate of the new antagonist will be sealed the moment he steals from the Evil Sea Witch.
The third option will play with a combination of both scenarios.
While I write my updates, I'll have a better idea of what will work best, but I wanted to know what everyone thinks I should do.
