- MissLjupkaNew SpectatorDoes anybody know if the random crushes and autonomous calls for a date can be turned off like the neighborhood stories?
- @bruceleroy98 It's a base game feature. I haven't had it happen either but I only had a little over an hour in game yesterday.
@mrs_starkey I didn't see anything for it when I scrolled through the options menu. The only new feature in there is the wants and fears toggle, that I saw anyway. - MissLjupkaNew Spectator@DaniRose2143 Thank you for looking it up! :)
Then I hope that there will be a mod, where I can turn them off. These random and autonomous things are very annoying to me, because they never fit with my story in mind.
I'm happy for all the players who wanted more random things for so long, but I feel kinda sorry for myself :D "mrs_starkey;c-18157102" wrote:

Not a problem. I had the game open this morning messing around in CAS before work so it was easy peasy to have a little look around. I was curious too once I saw your question. I have one single sim in my main save so maybe this will get her a love interest. Preferably one of the random townies I create.?- MVWdeZTRising HotshotThe crushes do happen with the patch. I have a Sim with 7 toddlers, and her nanny just called up to ask her out on a date. But I think if you turn them down, that's it.

I think it is supposed to be with the patch, but it hasn't happened to my sims, yet.
Yea I'm looking for this interaction. Let me know if it ever happens in your game. - wexxamSeasoned Vanguard

Hasn't that always been a thing? - Can the game distinguish who is an npc and who is a played sim now? In the past it often considered every sim outside the active household an npc. For example, if I play Max and Moritz in different households, can the game push Max to ask to date or dump Moritz? (It shouldn't, since it's my sim.)

Usually it's a Sim that your Sim already has a romantic relationship with. And the wording was different. I'm pretty sure the nanny said she had a crush. She and the maid are the only grown-up Sims that this particular Sim knows. "MVWdeZT;c-18157125" wrote:

Oh my, for a second I read it as the nanny asked out one of the toddlers ?
