I really miss my game! It is totally unplayable thanks to the *zoom into a sim that uses their phone* bug. Every 10 seconds (RL time) the game flies over to a random NPC that mostly is arriving the hood, already busy with their cell phone, probably changing the color of their phone. Whatever my played sim's action is gets interrupted. As long as this is not fixed I can not play my game in live mode.I hardly saw others complaining about this, so I wonder if there is a work around? Or is there a mod to fix it?If this affects all it is quite hard to understand why EA did not simply remove the *change phone color* until it works, after all it is not a very important feature. But when it zooms away from our active sim constantly, it *is* game breaking.My game was patched couple days ago, but the bug was introduced with the forced patching when ts4 App was launched (or perhaps with the HSY patch, as I got several patches with the forced patching.Guess I need some help to move on. And - because so few mention it, are you not experiencing this zooming away thing?

I use mods by Bienchen to stop autonomous phone usage alltogether. Its in the section for Autonomy mods a bit down the page (or search for noautonomousphone). Its a download with several packages, so mix and match as you please.I hardly use the phone myself, and not for any web related stuff anyway. At most I call, send sms/mms and play solitair or something, that's it. And my sims absolutely have better things to do with their time.

I have spared many games for minor bugs and such, if it is not crashing constantly or too hard on my computer based on how it is during and after gameplay I am fine playing. I see comments and it really does break differently for some not sure why but then I'm not a developer, I also notice when people are seeing what I'm seeing and are more sensitive I notice lag once in a while for maybe a few seconds and that's after various amounts of game play I know they would off for that but it doesn't make sense. Games are expensive I gave it a chance to get to this point and I'm simply satisfied and point out things when I have issues that may take away my focus points for a good game. I have also seen that zoom in thing it doesn't bother me but it has stopped happening as often not that it was very much in the beginning. That's why I play...or on the shorter end, it is able to keep me happy still.

well simple explanation is that everyone is not running into this bug as i have not yet eitherwalk and use phone thing is annoying me though so i end up teleporting my sims all the freaking time which ofcourse is not realistic but the phone walk takes eternity i don't think sims should be allowed to autonomously use phones and if it must be thing then just make it trait/ walkstyle and don't put it on every sim ever

I haven’t had it yet either and I’m using the same mod @Kathykins is. That may be why I’m not running into it. I had to add it because while I like my teen sims glued to their phones, my adults doing it was wrecking scenes I was trying to get screenshots of.

But in all honestly, if you're okay with using mods, MCCC's tuner function can stop all the annoying phone usage/and other annoying autonomous actions. My sims just read books and gain skills, now.

Thanks, I grabbed the mod, will need to restart game to test it but assuming it will make me enjoy my game again :)

I hope so :) I've used mods to stop auto-phone use a long time now, and it really is a blessing. Only sims that might have some trouble would be Phone Fanatics (fame quirk). So far only sim I know with that quirk is Orange Bailey-Moon, so meh....
