I Love My Sim’s Apartment! Eco Lifestyle 😍

That's nice you like it! I didn't look at them yet! I wasn't even in the city I'm waiting for a friend to explore it together at mine so we both see it at same time! Do you guys that see this like the pack?

I went to look at it. It's very nice! I love the blue bedroom. It's so small though.

No pics; I’m a console player so that’s trickier for me. ? It’s nothing amazing, but it’s just more, ‘wow, this doesn’t offend my eyes!’ ☺️ It looks like what a real-life starter apartment for someone with a very limited budget but good taste might actually come up with. The color palette chosen, the lines of the furniture selected - it was done thoughtfully in a way that I can connect with.

It’s all individual perspective, but mine is I have a great deal of professional real-life interior design experience and doing a very small Sim space on a very tight starter-budget with only items from specific packs (for players who don’t have this add-on or that one) and making it look good is challenging, like painting but only being able to use five colors.

Usually, to my eye, the starter homes and apartments look dull and bland in addition to being bare-bones entry-level, and I begin new games with a lot of redecorating and recolonization - I decide the layout is weird or the placement of items is all wrong or the color palette used is not to my liking, or I enslave my poor Sim immediately to very quickly climb career ladder rungs for cash OR I resort to cash-cheating because if I’m going to play in the space I don’t want to hate looking at it for so long - but not this time! ? To just be able to start playing at once without having to ‘fix’ everything was really nice!

Can you make your own apartments?
Does eco living effect gameplay to the point of where you have to participate in environmental clean up?
Just would like to know because I want this game!!

Well only because of the apartment feature.

I believe you can make your own apartments, but I haven’t tried and just now spied a warning post here in the forums about not bulldozing the apartment buildings because it causes some gameplay difficulties. I will try this at some point down the line, but I have no immediate plans to.

I haven’t played too much of the game yet; I dipped my toe in yesterday but had other things I needed to spend the day doing. Today, I plan to spend several hours with the new pack so I might have a better idea by day’s end.

Aside from making completely new apartments, is it possible to just copy one of the new EH apartments and drop it on another lot in a different world? If so, would it copy the whole thing or would it require fussing around with adding a bottom level and adding the copied apartments on top?

You can’t make actual apartments in the Sims 4.

I knew that was the case with the City Living apartments, but since there are other differences between those and the new ones, I was curious whether it might be possible with these... at least if they were copied, rather than trying to create from scratch.
