I need a career for my sim

I'm starting a new save and need help choosing a career for my new sim. Who wants to help me? I have ALL the packs, so I have every career available. This is a different type of sim I usually play - she's more tomboy and I often play "girly girls". But she likes goth style. I used all werewolves clothing for her because I felt they fit her style perfectly. What do you think her career/storyline should be? I'm open to all options - active career, rabbithole, or freelance. I have her traits as music lover, vegetarian, and maker. Her name is Cara-Beth Youngblood.

  • Maybe a freelance builder. I like that i can have my sims work at their own pace in the freelance careers.
  • She looks like a free spirit, I would also suggest a freelance career of some sort.
  • You said she she likes Goth style. How about a paranormal career.and on the side maybe dumpster diving and making things with the maker machine.

Paranormal investigator was the first thing I thought of too. Another idea for a side job is Barista. Even though she doesn't have the bookworm trait but what about writing gothic or emo stories, mysteries maybe?
  • She lives in a haunted house and tries to calm the spectres with music first (Music Genius Aspiration), what obviously doesn't work. Sometime along the way she realizes that handmade gifts can appease the spectres, then dives into the Medium skill and becomes a Paranormal Investigator, while still pursuing her musical ambitions.

Or scientist/veterinarian, because I like the idea of her clients knowing her only in her proper lab coat and then being baffled by how she really dresses. Might make for an interesting romance ("Wow, so that's what you look like in your freetime, and here I thought you were boring!")
  • I'm loving the paranormal gameplay ideas. I actually haven't played with the pack at all since it came out...I just liked the build/buy stuff. Maybe its finally time to dive into it. Thanks!
