Erm... I may or may not have accidentally set an entire apartment building as a sim's head and then tried to reset it... Now there's a massive apartment building sitting in the middle of the Spice Market... Heh.. Edit: Okay, okay, it wasn't an accident! Curiosity got the best of me when I shift-clicked on the building (THAT was the accident) and chose "Set as Head"... and now here I am. :flushed:

I know living with an apartment on your head is difficult, but it's possible to have a rich, full life. It's not the best situation, but maybe your sim can collect money from the tenants?

When you click on "Load Save" there should be a play option and a recovery option on the bottom right. I tried to do that but unfortunately, the last time I saved before was a few hours ago, where I changed a lot of things in my game. Gah, why do I do such things sometimes? I guess it's alright for now since I'm not playing in that district currently and it's not affecting my game in any way.

Have you tried changing the item reusing the set as head cheat, for something small that you can then place down in a buildable lot and delete. A leftover cupcake, drink would be best but a bench or a bin would also proberly work.

Try going back to the very bottom save on the list -- hopefully that does fall before the set as head save. I have a save where I test weird stuff, also where I do the majority of my building so if something goes wrong I can back out without saving.

Hahaha, this thread subject is great!

@sproot, you should be able to recover a older save using the methods other people here have described. If nothing else, the hilarity is totally worth having to just restart a new game. :lol:

Hopefully that mod suggested works for you, otherwise I would move and avoid the spice district.

What would happen if that Sim would just die or be deleted out of household management? Or the two of them now that you have 2 Sims with a building on top of their heads! And now I think of it. The ghost! Yikes!
