Meh, I don't know about this one. The 5 year anniversary for The Sims 4 last year was such a let down and wasn't even that great. I can't really remember what they did but that just shows how bad it was. ?
We got the new stair tool to make stairs that bend for the 5th anniversary and then the Muslim cas and bb stuff"Stina1701A;c-17386051" wrote:

Don't get your hopes too far up. I remember for the 15th, they hyped it for at least a week, and their surprise? A trailer. Yay, an ad to celebrate.
Hopefully they give out free stuff for this one. News should probably be separate.- A lot of people are getting ants in their pants. Which is fun, having that anticipation. Don’t get too hyped looking at the track record of releases you should be patiently waiting till March at the very earliest and that’s wishful thinking of a “big” release. They’ve basically gave the community “a lot” already a surprise stuff release (tiny living) and a console gallery release, and the common 50% off packs/add ons and free base game offer. That gives them time to keep the dogs from jumping the fence. It’ll be some sort of sugar coated inflated news that will basically be something that would be unexpectedly expected that’s not even close to what you want. Their doing great as far as pushing things out. Which is worrisome. Patients I say... patients!
My prediction for this year: August, September will be the end of Sims 4. I really hope not. I just have that feeling. - Not sure if it's the kind of news you're after but it looks like EA's CEO just dropped some hints about the next generation of Sims, for those who are interested.

Yes, I do hope that when they are talking about online, they are talking about more online features (like the gallery) and not making the game fully online. - Hello, PS4 player here. Someone mention news?

Ha, right... Still no My First Pet Stuff... Sorry, I'm tired and salty. Anyway, they'll probably be an announcement eventually but eh, you never really know. There are some things the devs or the higher-ups can't comment on yet. Plus PC did just get a stuff pack.
Content takes time to make and that's not even taking into account marketing. - SimmervilleSeasoned AceI'm waiting for a farming pack. Not so much that I must have such a pack at any cost, more that I'd like to know if we ever will get it. I play several farms, and I'd just like to be able to plan their future based on either a farming pack, or CC. I won't bother with CC if the pack is right around the corner...
No matter what pack, I normally spend months preparing my community for the new content, meaning if they release the news just 1 week ahead of release, I will spend those months prepoaring instead of playing the game, even if I already got the pack installed. I never jump straight into a new pack, my game has grown too complex for that.
Anyway, because previous packs were copies of concepts from TS3 and TS2, we should get something new. Fact that thy got rid of 32 bits restrictions, I'm hopeful :) "Chazzzy;c-17387058" wrote:

One of the devs made a statement recently regarding why the console doesn’t have MFPS Stuff Pack yet and when they will get it. If I remember correctly, he said it’s hard to make that pack available because it requires Cats & Dogs and they haven’t figured out a way to only make it so gamers that also have Cats & Dogs can buy the pack and everyone else who doesn’t cannot. He said he wasn’t sure they would be able to add that pack to the console at all until they can figure out a workaround.
I would say "maybe they should've thought of that before making the pack" but I don't think the console version was even out at the time. My suggestion would be to just add the content to C&D and increase the price a bit but then people who already bought C&D would get it for free so they'd lose money...
And with the stuff pack CAS vote including options for C&D it looks like we just can't win either way. We'll never get MFPS and if pet outfits make it into the new pack we won't get that either. I'm just tired of waiting and I'm sure I'm not alone.
