I've read this in another thread what about the parenthood projects? Will that effect the grade? How is homework going to effect their progress? Also attending class it looks like teens just sit there and listen to the lecture like come on you couldn't do gameplay where they can sleep, take notes, pass notes, try to get the others attention by throwing paper ball or paper airplane, write on desk, raise hand to answer questions and ask a question like??? ALSO WHERE ARE THE BACKPACKS!?!?!? Y'ALL COULDN'T GIVE US A DESK WITH A BACKPACK ON IT!?!? I DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE SCHOOL BUS!!! - ck2133 years agoLegendGet Together will be highly used by me.
HSY seems focused on Jocks primarily and Geeks second. My Creatives and Elites have no representation.
So I will have clubs for them and call them up for the 3-5 after school time, and later if I want them hang out longer.
I am also concerned that sims I actually want to see at high school won't show up, so the clubs will be a must have if that's the case.
I hope teens actually living in the worlds populate the school over homeless random townies.
I will assume Sulani and Komorebi teens are foreign exchange students. :D
Thunderstorms?
Yeah, sims are going to panic and run around the halls like lunatics. - logionX3 years agoLegendI worry that we are going to get fame from selling clothes on trendi, have our teens end up becoming celebrities and then they will completely ruin high school by walking around and causing everyone to cheer and ask for autographs.

I think High School will last as long as your sims are teens.
But I'm also curious about how this will integrate with other packs. Drama Club comes to mind as well. (I actually expect no changes to that)
And while they said there's some impact on University, we can't see what that is until the Gamechangers get regular access to add the pack into their regular games.
My guess, straight off on how HS will impact Uni, is grades matter. Particularly in the last two years of HS. I also think that the current system in place, it's the same thing. When a Sim goes to apply for Scholarships, their grades matter. I wouldn't worry too much about it."logion;c-18150076" wrote:

Psst: My Teen is already a Global Superstar. Sh, don't tell a soul! LOL - I don't think will be possible to have club meetings on HS or Auditorium (but I hope I'm wrong) just because they said those lots will work exactly like GTW career ones :(
- akl12263 years agoSeasoned AceI’m also super curious about how this pack integrates with the other packs we already have.
For instance since the classes are random and offer small skill gain can you get classes that boost skills from other packs?
Like others here I am also super curious how this pack will work with parenthood and the systems in place with that pack. Character values are a big curiosity since they could be effected by actions at the school such as doing well for the day and going to class or skipping class and getting detention.
My thing with pack integration is they mostly do a really great job with using other packs to boost the current pack, but other times there are big oversights.
Hopefully things will mainly be integrated the way we want. Like I’d also really love if we could use the high school as a club hangout so we can make our own after school activities. "Flap;c-18150118" wrote:

They don't work exactly like those lots though. You can visit the school anytime and hang out there after classes. So there's hope.- ChadSims23 years agoSeasoned RookieBesides the little University tie in it really looks like they did not put any effort to tie in any other expansions at all which sadly at this point is expected with Sims 4 every pack is built as a standalone mini game.

It is sad, but I kinda understand why its done. Each pack must work as a standalone anyway and by now there are so many possible combination of packs someone can have it would be very hard to fix bugs for them.
Still, they could at least make some form of integration when two packs introduce nearly the same thing like ecology (IL and EL) or various forms of social media.
By now just tying all expansions together would be an expansion of its own from the point of effort and price.- dcwestby3 years agoSeasoned HotshotI've said before that I'm curious on how Vampires and the other occults will affect HSY. I'm almost certain there will a supernatural smackdown in the halls at some point in at least one of my games. Yeah... and whether we have to manually pick who goes to Copperdale or not...
