My main save I have played since 2014! have played since 2014! I play rotationally and usually with aging off most of the time.. I get attached to my sims. When I get tired of playing one household, I will change households. Occasionally as sims progress in jobs and wealth they will change homes. Many singles will break into pairs, etc. I try to make my households different so it is not so repetitive. I have all packs so there is quite a variety to play my households. I prefer micromanaging so that doesn’t bother me, though in larger families sometimes I will see some cute things happening like a grandmother visiting with her teen age granddaughter, sitting on her bed and talking to her. Or a grandfather and his grandson dancing to the radio, while I’m tending to another sim. Those kind of things warm my heart.
I would just say if one family is frustrating you move on to another, or create a new household. I have one pair of sims that love to vacation, another sim that enjoys dating around, one family just moved from the city to have a horse ranch. My artist from the city moved to tartosa to open an art gallery. One family are writers. I have many families to choose from and they are interconnected as friends and acquaintances. I have children’s groups of friends, groups of scouts etc., a group of socialite women that get together at a cafe occasionally, some criminal sims that meet at a lounge and play poker, a group of teenagers that hang out at houses, malls or arcades….,a lot of different varieties of things to do.
