I'm sick and tired........ Should I just give up?

I've had friends question my reasoning for micromanaging how many kids they(my played sims) have.... I finally explained why tonight. My sims I've been playing had four kids- two of each- ranging fro...

I play on long life and find the newborn, infant and toddler stages tedius very quickly, I will often play another household without little ones, at the same time and wait till they age up. If I get really fed up I bake a cake and have a birthday party.  But I would never give up on them, I just couldn't do that to my simmies.
