I've started off a bunch of my sims in a rags to riches route, so for them it did take a good long while before they became settled and comfortable. My favourite household, which I started off this way, and which i play with aging off, now have $9+ million. I don't feel right taking away their money by cheats, but now there is a way to gift simoleons, I try to spread their wealth to their friends.
