Is there a way to be pregnant with science baby?

I am very disappointed that the baby just pops up when you have a science baby. At least they could have been given the choice to be pregnant or not? ( I don't use mods either so that isn't really a s...

Unfortunately the only way I know is through mods, which is very unfortunate. I think an (optional) pregnancy for science babies should have been included in the game.
