I hate it when they die. I am still traumatized by losing my first Sim to fire in Sims 2. And I was such a newbie, I didn't even realize I could just exit without saving. I managed to finally have her husband resurrect her.
Since playing the Sims 4, no one has died permanently. Although both Siobhan and Sergio died from laughing on their wedding night because I sent them to the Humor and Hijinks festival. Apparently the tea combined with joking and indulging in bubbles was a deadly combination. I had never had that happen before. Siobhan was able to successfully plead for Sergio, but he failed when it came time to plead for her. Fortunately, I just exited without saving, and when I reentered the game, I pretended it all had been Sergio's bad dream. Call it pre-wedding jitters.
I suppose I will eventually have to have someone die of old age. Perhaps I'll try the nursing home idea and just have aging on when I play that household. But I wonder if I can then get the urns back to the proper families?
