With Seasons it's very easy to kill off sims. In Summer wait for a hot day (heat wave not needed) and dress them in winter outfit, in Winter dress them in summer hot wear. Send them outside. They will burn/freeze to death within a few hours. Cheating down their need bars will make it go quicker.
