I think the indoor/outdoor lifestyles depend more on what activity is being done because one of my sims has the outdoor one and has that flower bouquet making table and candle making table outdoors, but when she uses them, she gets the bored moodlet from being inside! Makes zero sense. I also have some like cavepeople off he grid and they do have a tiny cave like house, but it is really only used for sleeping - almost everything else they do is outdoors yet one of those sims got the indoor lifestyle - again - makes no sense.
