Lost Legacies Gameplay Thread (Ending March 16)

A few days pass and nothing from the Royal Envoy, Marina. There is a Royal Gala during the evening hours and Lady Cordelia wants Lucifer to be her escort. He tells her this is when he will confess to the other royal families and return their keys back to them. She asks him to hold off and that the evening is for enjoyment.

As the evening hours come, Lucifer and Cordelia arrive at the entrance to where the Royal Gala is being held. A man dressed in a suit greets Lady Cordelia.

Cordelia introduces the man to Lucifer as her escort and he lets them in.

Lucifer and Cordelia found a table to sit at. There, she points out some of the townsfolk and let him know who they were. He recently met the Capp family.

Cordelia notices the Darong royal family enter and invites them over to the table. She introduces Lucifer to Sef and his wife Lina. Their daughter, Delilah, was tagging along behind.

As everyone is mingling and enjoying each other’s company, the Royal Envoy, Marina, pushes past the man at the entrance doors and barges in.

Marina finds Lucifer and approaches him. She demands he give her the key he stole from her as well as any other keys he’s found. She tries to lay claim to them. Lucifer responds with not a chance.

Marina pulls out a sword and points it at Lucifer. She threatens if he won’t give them to her, she’ll take them. Lucifer knows he can easily overpower her and needs to put on a show. He glances around and sees Consort Capp’s sword in his sheath. He motions for it and Consort does not hesitate to toss it over to Lucifer. A duel ensues between Lucifer and Marina.

The sword fight draws a crowd. Cordelia is upset that Marina would do this. Especially at a gala.

After a short while, Lucifer decides he’s had enough fun and knocks the sword from Marina’s hand with his own sword, and she falls to the ground. Lucifer points his sword at her and says enough is enough.

Cordelia steps in-between Lucifer and Marina. She tells Marina she’s done a bit of research on her. Although, she has the title of Emissary to the royal families, Cordelia says she knows she comes from a family of thieves. Having the three family keys would resort her into being able to run all three kingdoms.

Cordelia turns to Lucifer and smiles at him. I think we were destined to meet. She tells him he was brought here to stop Marina from fulfilling her plans.

Cordelia turns to Sef Darong who in turn hands her a ribboned box. She turns back to Lucifer and presents the box to him. Lucifer opens the box.

Inside the box was a golden key with a patina and a seashell crown. This is the key to the Thebe Royal Family.

Cordelia smiles again at Lucifer and says that she talked it over with the Capp and Darong families. They are allowing him to keep their royal family keys to ensure others like Marina do not get their hands on them. The two go in for a hug.

Cordelia turns to where Marina was supposed to be but is no longer there. She is told that Marina left. Cordelia encourages everyone to continue to enjoy themselves and invites them all to dance, with Lucifer as her partner.

That night, as Lucifer gets ready for slumber, he places the final key in the curio display table.

The next morning, the formerly Royal Envoy, Marina Corsair, boards a pirate ship with a few men.
