- Beardedgeek727 years agoSeasoned Ace...Personally i am option 2.
- I change them all the time, such as breeding ground when I wanted my sims to have twins. That way I get to experience most of the traits since I mainly play one household.
- HopeyStarr7 years agoSeasoned AceIf I'm moving sims I'll keep one or two lots traits consistent because I like the idea of some traits being connected to the location rather than the household. Then I'll add whatever is needed for that specific household.
- It depends on what the traits are. I always change Needs TLC or Gremlins, but I like to keep traits Cursed and Haunted around because they keep things interesting.
- I don't like negative traits like gremlins and others. I think that my sims want live in a safe house or flat. ;)
- pinneduphair7 years agoSeasoned AceI change them a lot. I'm not patient with gaining skills, so I use the skill boosting lot traits often.
- OEII10017 years agoSeasoned AceI select my traits and keep them, but will move families to lots with desired traits if it fits. I have, in the past, moved a family from Windenburg to San Myshuno with the story idea that they were relocating specifically to send their children to a prestigious magnet school located in the city. However, once set the lot's traits may never change.
- I usually change them to fit what I imagine my current household to be like, but often forget to add them on lots which don't have lot traits at the start of the game. I have a family in Windenburg which consists of a single father and his kids (and his girlfriend recently). He is working in the culinary career, so I added the Chef's Kitchen trait. One of the kids loves to read, so I gave the lot trait Peace and Quiet. The last trait I added has to do with the story of the family. The children's mother died and they moved to a new home for a fresh start. I added her ghost in manage worlds (just put some ghost from the gallery and changed the appearance a bit to match the kids ones). Then I added the Haunted trait to see if she would come visit them.
I usually get rid immediately from the gremlins trait, as I can't stand all my stuff breaking literally every night. I usually keep Quake Zone and add it to every other lot in the same neighborhood for a more realistic approach. - simsimsere7 years agoSeasoned AceNot sure what to vote. I rarely use lot traits on residential lots. If I use them I often like to give the same trait for the whole neighbourhood... The whole thing is more about story telling and less taking advantage of the perks. If I download a house from the gallery I almost certainly remove all the lot traits.
- I never change them I just leave it, Its my way of making the game more random.
