Lovestruck Livestream Hopes and Concerns

Tomorrow's the big day and I hope this Livestream shows the following.

How the polyamory relationships work eg how do you make you're sim have this in the first place? Is it a trait or is it something you have to do on the dating app?

I'm hoping to see an entire tour of the world and the premade households. I'm also hoping the map will get released on this LS.

I want to see all the new romantic interactions and the new phone and camera romantic poses which we haven't seen yet. We've just seen the new friendly ones.

I'm hoping that they'll show whether Lovestruck intergrates with other packs eg especially with the Social Bunny App that came with High School Years. I'm hoping that Cupid's Corner lets us chat with sims we hook up with and use emojies and especially flirt.

With the world I'm hoping to see additional stuff like more amusement park rides especially a carousel and maybe roller coasters. I'm also hoping to see a pool slide but unfortunately that's not looking likely to happen.

I'm hoping that the Sims Team will review what EA Gamechangers are building lots for this world.

I"m hoping to see a beach in Ciudad that sims can swim in.

I"m hoping to see the heart hottub.

I'm hoping to see all the CAS and Buy Build items. I especially want to see those eyelashes.

Basically I'm hoping to see a 3 hr Livestream.

If they want to point out more heart-shaped items (like if they're bringing back the heart-shaped hot tub from Sims 1) or if there's a specific item made by a EA Gamechanger that they included, that's fine. But going item by item in CAS or piece by piece in Build/Buy isn't needed. We'll be able to send most of that for ourselves in-game. We get that the overall theme of this pack is colorful, heart-shaped, and butterflies. 

I'd love for them to focus on: 

•  The map of Ciudad Emamorada - How many lots? Empty lots? Pre-made families? Any Lore? 
• The Romantic Consultant career - even though it's a rabbit hole, give us more details...is it a job that's capable of working from home?  Besides the romance skill, what other skill do you need to get promoted? Preview the special interactions that are unlocked by getting promoted?
• Romantic Satisfaction Skill - How does that work? New relationship bar? How does the romantic repair date help improve this? 
• Turn-Ons/Offs in CAS - does it overlap with likes & dislikes? How does it determine how well a sim is attracted to another sim? Can those change or be acquired through gameplay? 
• Planning a Date - What were the rest of activities that you can select? What happens if you choose a venue where it is not possible to do that date? Can you change the activities later mid-way through a date?
• Any cross pack play with My Wedding Stories or Growing Together, any other packs? 
• How many new board games came with this pack? How can we play them? Age restricted only to adults? Does that contribute to turn-ons/offs, romantic satisfaction, etc? 

Me I am kind annoyed they changed to label husband's wife to spouses.

This to me is not inclusive and I wish we were given the option what we want our sims call.

World...😍 I so much need to have another city. 💖

I know some people are concerned it uses City Living set dressing too much. but from what I saw so far from trailer pics, this has more flora.  And I plan to use it as part or neighbor to San M anyway, so it does not bug me.

I am worried about dating app autonomy...  Please game, do not break my couples when Im not watching, pretty please???

There is one thing I've always wondered: how the trait turn-ons and turn-offs work? Are there separate options for each trait or are they grouped together like Sim Characteristics are?

There is one trait that has this icon: Career-Minded aspiration bonus trait. And that's only available through the tutorial too! So, does one trait's icon get changed, will we get a new trait, or is it not a trait turn-on/off at all, but something else turn-on/off (turned on by career talk?)?

In short, I want answer to that.

And I wish that they go through every category to the bottom of the selection. I want to see every available option there (I must plan ahead everything!).

And show the new traits' description too please. And what exactly causes death by heartbreak?

So many questions...

Hardly any of the new romantic interactions were shown but there was one that surprised me. Sims can star/cloud gaze while sitting at a bench or picnic table. Sadly they didn't show the blanket star/cloud gaze nor did they show the interactions on the bear rug. They did make it sound like the bear rug is a swatch of the blanket. We'll see.

Also for cross compatibilty you can place the little hearts carpet from City Living in with all the other new romantic furniture. The LS was way too short for me but what I saw of buy build and cas I loved. I also love the world. They never did answer if there are any swimming places but it looks like there are atleast 2 lakes or 3 were our sims can swim. We'll know soon enough when early access releases.

I think the livestream was good, streaming quality could be better...

CAS: I like that they were not shy from making some pretty revealing outfits but I could live without all those costumes. I rarely if ever use costumes in the game and they were most likely for the new dress up gameplay item. Nice that we are getting eyelashes but only two with the basegame and two with this pack feels... like not a lot.
I liked the new romantic boundaries, that's a nice way to have sims react different to jealousy.

B/B: I liked that we got new B/B for different venues, the new gym items like the new shower looked great. The new heartbed looked good too.

World: Mixed feelings, it's a pretty world. One thing that surprised me was the bar in the park, unless you invite sims over and hire a bartender... I don't think many sims are gonna even use it. It should have been a combined park and bar lot.

Gameplay: It's weird that I kinda want to buy this pack... but I don't want to play it, it has a lot of set dressing and setting up sims and dates... but I did not really feel encouraged to play it. I do like that they have made it easy to find out what your sims likes and dislikes when it comes to romance... but it's almost too easy. The dates did not look that much different to what we have in the base game.

I might buy this pack but I will wait until I know what is basegame and not, and also if there is any bugs with it.

Today's The Day!!!!

I want to see everything! I'm especially interested in seeing how romantic satisfaction works. Can we really have unrequited love now? Is this a different thing from the current romance bar or a reworking of it?

I want to see the world, what lots are included, sizes - I don't think we'll see all of that because they never hover over every lot. Maybe one of the gurus will share a map with sizes after the livestream is over.

I'd also like to see more about turn-ons and turn-offs; I don't expect them to detail every single possible thing, but a quick scroll of the panel would show what kinds of things are available in more detail.

CAS/BB is sort of middle for me - I always want to know what the stuff is, but they never seem to show it off particularly well (I'd rather they click on every clothing item, than click on a few where they click on multiple swatches).
