There's always going to be positive and negative feedback. Especially among a community with hardcore, passionate fans.

There is a difference between feedback and constantly putting the creators down.

Without feedback and criticism, products of any kind won't ever know how to improve. I don't think there should be any valid reason to hold back on what to say if a consumer doesn't like it.

With that being said, I don't vouch for ad hominem attacks or strawman arguments or even users purposely sabotaging a thread to have it derailed then closed. I see these from both sides and it doesn't help the developers skim through feedback.
