Midlife Crisis Question

NM...I think I figured it out, now that I ask. I don't think it helps the crisis at all. My sim just got out of bed in the middle of the night to contemplate life (grrrr) and decided that cross stitch is now her thing. All it seems to do is add cross stitch to her likes. All her previous "things" are there, too, now that I look at it. So it's just another way to add likes.

I remember this in Sims 3 and hated it. This is something that I could really do without in Sims 4. I don't even know what a midlife crisis is, and neither does my husband, and we are both in our 50s, we never had one in real life.
