Ministry of Labour

Hey peeps,

Something I just noticed in my game is that when I rotate away from a household where one or more sims is self-employed through the Ministry of Labour, the game will use those sims to fill other jobs.

For instance, my sim who is registered as a self-employed author (not in the writing career) recently appeared as a detective at the police station when I played another household who is in the police. And, sure enough, when I switched back to the author she was no longer with the Ministry of Labour, she was a detective.

Does anyone else have this happen? It is pretty annoying. I think perhaps this is something they overlooked, unless my game is just bugged.

  • Yes. But in my game, whenever I drop a new household into my game, I use MCCC to cheat up their skills (because nobody can be an adult with teen children and have absolutely zero skills, right?). Also before I leave that household I make sure to give them jobs.

So, what was truly odd was seeing the intended mother-in-law of my active Sims's sister, as the Bouncer at PBP (BPB?) on the night of the Accolades. :open_mouth: It was also very strange that her son (the intended groom) was an Entertainer when I made him an astronaut. LOL

I do hope this gets fixed.

Its veryannoying and ea should know not to touch our sims. My active households are always turning up as bouncers.

Do they have high Fitness skills? I noticed the Flex guy from Windenburg was a Bouncer, I found it cool because he is well trained.
  • I haven't noticed it (yet), I tend to use register to stop my sims getting jobs so it'll be a bit of a bummer if I find they've all swapped, might freeze them with mcc
