- I like that the Sims team are able to assess what players are and aren't using, and for the items that are under used, they re-purpose the object or skill for better use. I'm not mad at it. I have plans for a photography studio.

Hey, didn't the gurus tweet something about the magazine covers? I know they looked at the the clutter deco item; but wasnt there something about it being tied to the career. I'm just wondering because from what I remember they didn't show anything other than the "coffee table" magazine stack thingy.
From what I remember, you get the magazine covers as photos once it's been approved as part of the job. They didn't show it because in the end, they didn't actually finish the job they started in the stream.
So there's the generic clutter item but then there are covers that will feature Sims from the game that you take pictures off that can be displayed as deco items.
On a different note regarding the stream and CAS, I think maybe they focused on the masculine items because there were multiple "but what about male fashion" complaints in response to the teaser and trailer. May have been a coincidence but we're already seen a bunch of the feminine fashion, so I'm not bothered it wasn't in the stream, personally."Sigzy05;c-17194698" wrote:
So....they made a pack where you pay so that you are able to take in-game pictures of sims, with new poses and rotate the camera? And "animated" backdrops? And you pay 10€.....? And there's like barely any clothing, in a clothing brand pack.....? Seems like a rip-off to me.
So we are paying for a career and some poses...no new animations even. This game is turning into such a joke :D And why is there a random guy constantly yelling "we put so much stuff in this stuff pack, it's full of stuff" in the stream? Yeah, it's believable lol You put some poses in a pack wow, ground breaking for 2019. This is why I'm moving on from this game (not franchise though obvs I love the sims). I'll see what Realm of Magic turns into, just hope it's not as pathetic as this.
I think that there may be a new animation -- a new walk style. When the female in the pink leather suit walks across the room, her shoulders are back, no arm swing, and her hips way out front in the iconic model walk. The base game had only one female walk style, this one looks different to me.
Hopefully, I'm correct."liliaeth;c-17195398" wrote:
As they said, all the youtubers will do an indepth view of the cas assets, so instead of wasting time on that, they focused on showing the gameplay instead.
I actually appreciated that. I evaluate packs on gameplay, not CAS. TS4 textures are really poor.- AnmirlaSeasoned AdventurerWe haven't seen all of the CAS. Quite honestly, I don't think I want to. This clothing brand is hideous! (We need a puke emoji.)
I really like the build/buy objects. Those "1/4 circle" windows are great. When I saw them, the first thing that popped into my head was Amityville Horror. >:)
The photography skill was in such bad need of an upgrade. I would actually use it now that there is something to it.
This pack is better than I expected, because if it would've been all horrible clothes, it would never have been a consideration for me. - N0NoTToN0NNew Spectator

It's not Moschino Stuff, it's Photographer Stuff
4 tops, 2 pants and 1 outfit for adult male, it's lower than H&M and Diesel
I posted this in another thread but I'll add it here as well because I was amused by the deliberate choice to avoid showing most of the Moschino cas items:
I think they made a smart move in the live stream. They knew there was significant negative feelings towards Moschino content and focused on the less controversial aspects of the pack.
It changed my "hard no" on paying full price to I'm not going to feel like I wasted my money if I pay full price (if everything works as intended). I'm still not going to buy it on release though...I have enough going in my game for now without it. - SimburianNew Traveler

I don't think the 3 male Gurus know enough about the latest fashion trends to give a balanced review of the CAS in game judging from their usual streaming outfits. It was a good idea not to have females do it either, not with Morgan's fixation with burning everything.
I will be looking at some of the CAS streams with the sound off and making my own mind up. :p :) "LeGardePourpre;c-17198056" wrote:

Perhaps in your currency, stuff packs for sims 2 in my currency cost £9.99 which is the same price as a sims 4 stuff pack now.
Also sims 2 had stuff only. Sims 4 stuff packs have a premium item or two. In this case the premium item is photography being rehashed for a third time and slapping a 10 dollar price tag on it. - 42 CAS items (70%)
