My issue with mermaids

Here's why mermaids need to snorkel: the conservationist career freakin' requires it. >_< Also mermaids would eat fish unless they were vegetarian. I mean, they're marine animals right? Marine omnivore of a certain size would likely be fish eaters unless they're vegetarian like, you know, some people are. So not being able to eat the fish right out of the water was sad for me too. :neutral:

Besides, for snorkeling, why wouldn't a mermaid enjoy swimming in shallow water viewing the coral?
