Since summer is coming (Alongside National Caribbean-American Heritage Month), I'm hoping for a Caribbean world too! First we already got Sulani based on Polynesian/Hawaiian islands, Tartosa based on the Mediterranean region, and Tomarang based on Southeast Asia.

That's what I'm hoping for this year! If we're getting an EP with hotels/resorts, the missing things I really want since Caribbean-inspired CAS and BB items were added back in August 16th, 2018 is some foods from the Caribbean islands and a reggae station (A radio station I really want most of all since it's the sixth and final one on my six-station wishlist). And yes! Since I my family use to eat Puerto Rican rice and deep fried plantains, I mostly wanna eat some Caribbean BBQ chicken and Jamaican-styled macaroni and cheese.

My hope is hotels/resorts with either a Caribbean/Jamaican inspired world or an African inspired world. A few simmers were sent a magazine that had a page containing hotels - this could be hinting at hotels because before Life and Death came out simmers got a magazine with a page featuring the Grim Reaper.
Note: *I also want to acknowledge the absolute mess the game is right now - In a perfect world, all the bugs and issues would be fixed, and right now I am hoping EA is working on those before the new EP comes out.
My hope/proposal for the new EP:
- Careers: Resort Management (Active), Animal Trainer/Local Guide Career
- New Lot Type: Resort/Hotel
- New Skills and Activities: Hospitality, Adventure (Boat tours, ziplining, paddleboarding, surfing, safari tours), Cultural (steel pan drumming, dancing, rum tasting, storytelling)
- Events/Festivals: Jamaican inspired Carnival or African inspired cultural festival
- Food: Caribbean: Recipes like **bleep** chicken, ackee and saltfish, roti, and cocktails like piña coladas or rum punch, African: Dishes like jollof rice, injera with stews, or bobotie
World Options:
Caribbean:
Description: A tropical paradise with three neighborhoods
- Beachfront: Luxury resorts, boardwalks, and bars with turquoise waters. Lots include 2-3 large resort lots and a community beach.
- Jungle Village: Smaller eco-lodges or glamping sites, with raft rides and zip-lining. 3-4 residential/rental lots.
- Town Center: A lively market with festivals, food stalls, and a small hotel. 2-3 community lots (lounge, park)
Aesthetic: Colorful wooden architecture, open-air designs, and Caribbean decor (reggae-inspired murals, palm trees)
Activities: Carnival parades, dancehall battles, rum distillery tours, and boat trips to hidden coves
African:
Description: A diverse world with three neighborhoods
- Coastal Resort: Upscale beach resorts with infinity pools and cultural decor. 2-3 resort lots and a community spa.
- Savanna Retreat: Safari lodges or glamping tents, with tours to see animals (e.g., elephants, giraffes, like Cottage Living’s livestock). 3-4 rental/residential lots.
- Cultural Hub: A bustling town with markets, music venues, and festival grounds. 2-3 community lots (market, lounge)
Aesthetic: Earthy tones, vibrant textiles, and architecture blending modern and traditional (thatched roofs, stone walls)
Activities: Safari tours, cultural festivals with drumming and dance, storytelling nights, and water-based activities like dhow sailing
Let me know what you guys think! I really want a new non-western world- I really like all of the worlds, but I'd love to see some more representation of other cultures and places around the world. Hmu in the comments!
Some other EPs I'd love: Bands, Fairies, Cars, Elder focused, Childhood/Child-fcoused
While I'd really love to see a hotels EP I'm also hoping for something totally new and unexpected.

I think hotels are the next evolution in dividing up lots. With For Rent, we got multiple homes on one lot. With Businesses, we got a retail option on residential lots. Put those together and you've got resorts and hotels. A b/b elevator that worked would ne nice, too!
With a resort theme, we are likely looking at a Caribbean wworld.
Bands have been hinted at. This has GOT to be bigger than a kit, tho. I can't remember the last Game Pack (Werewolves?) but bands involves game play as well as build/buy. It doesn't necessarily need a new world to function. I'm not sure what kind of new city it would be since we already have something akin to Los Angeles. Nashville maybe?
And I'm guessing a whole bunch more kits. <sigh> The clutter ones are popular but how many spaces are left? Bedroom clutter? We kind of have plenty already, although "the chair you put all the clothes that are too clean to go in the wash but too dirty to put away" would be a nice touch. A furniture kit where you can restore pieces or build some quality pieces? (I'm looking at you Level 10 Handiness Toilet!)
An actual sewing kit would be cool. Imagine what that could do for a fashion designer career or a small business tailoring shop.
And- please, please, please- a functional salon. There are already creators making better styling chairs, etc, so this could be a Creator Kit. Another new career and small business opportunity.
Okay, I keep putting these out there every opportunity just in case the Right People (hello? EA?) ever read it-We need an African and Middle Eastern landscape!!
African Expansion Pack: Safaris, savannahs, waterfalls, mountain, markets, food, clothing, music, architecture, village, city, baobab trees, monkeys stealing things (as someone else suggested), DEATH BY OSTRICH, wildlife conservation career... I mean, c'mon. There's so much possibility.
And hey, we can put a resort there!
Middle Eastern Game pack: We got an Oasis bb kit that fits in where exactly? Again, possibilities for new clothing, music, architecture, food, holidays, oasis, camel rides, maybe throw in the Jinn for good measure. Three wishes, am I right?
We can put a resort there, too!
And while I'm complaining about kits with no relation to their environments*... how about a medieval or Renaissance world? I'd love to have sims live there, but I'd be happy with it being more of a Granite Falls as a Ren Faire vacation world. Eat turkey legs, shoot some arrows (archery as a new hobby?), wear jerkins and bodices, maybe be a vendor selling goods, watch some shows (juggling as a new hobby?), joust a knight, escape the dragon's lair, ENCOUNTER SOME FAIRIES...
We could even add a resort there as well! Okay, more like Ye Olde Tavern with hotel game play, but same diff.
*Note: I know we can build castles in Henford but everybody shows up in modern clothing. Ruins my fairy tale game play.

I don't know, but I hope it's hotels.

Based on The Sims' 25th anniversary calendar, I'm predicting we're getting hotels during summer, because it shows picture of sims in the swimming pool at monthly page of July, and I'm hoping we'll get more swimming pool objects including pool slides, diving boards, etc. And also, if we're getting bands, it look likes the picture shows The Sims 3 bands at the monthly page of November, and I'm hoping we're getting bands at fall.

At this point I find it hard to speculate, as we have far too little information. Those who want bands will say bands, those who, like myself, want hotels will say hotels...
Whatever the pack is though, I hope that EA for once focus just as much on the experiencing events as on running things, as in far too many packs the focus is nearly exclusively on the running things end. We can be doctors, but we can't go to the doctor. We can play as police, but we can't go to the police when we've had a break-in. We have several ways to own and run a business, but the experience of going shopping is still severely lacking in depth. And don't get me started on going to the vet or trying to visit a restaurant...So be it hotels or bands or something entirely different, I just hope that it's a full experience whether you're on the business side or the customer side of things.

While I am totally down for hotels/resorts and/or bands, I would really love it if the next pack had an underwater world. I think such an expansion would be great for our Merfolk; we already have underwater rebreathers with Sulani, so even regular sims can enjoy the ocean deeps with their Mer friends. Yeah, I'm totally picturing spectacular underwater grottoes to live in, and fantastic community lots, lounges, etc, to play in. 🧜🏻♀️
