NO classes should be back-to-back if in different buildings

I had this happen the last term for my Sim this time:

At Foxbury there is a HUGE distance between classrooms. I had one class END at 09:25, and another START at 9:30. IN THE OTHER BUILDING.
My Sim would definitely have gotten an F (or at best a C- ) for that class if I hadn't been lucky: She had reached lvl 6 wellness, so she could teleport. She still came 10 minutes late to that class every time.

So, in short: This is VERY bad coding. Best solution: Allow back-to-back classes if in the same building but not otherwise. An acceptable solution: Make sure there is at least 35 minutes between classes, period.

  • I know, I created an answer HQ topic about it. Feel free to click me too.

My best advice is to not choose an elective course. It can happen with normal classes as well but I get this problem much less if I do not select an elective course.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all, but this is very much like my own college experience. XD I once had to get all the way across campus in 15 minutes from one class to another. I could do it literally to the minute, with no time to spare. I agree though, 5 minutes in Sims is NOT enough time.
  • It's not bad coding, it's bad level design. Totally different disciplines.
The buildings should be, at most, across the quad from each other.

But I guess, just like in real life, this is why you should consider start times when deciding on your class schedule.
