No More Giving To Charity via Phonecall?

My Sims just gave twice in response to phone calls, so I’m confused.

My sims have to the option to give with the phone call?

We don't get to choose the amount, it is $1000 and I wouldn't mind if they allowed us to pick a different amount in case my sim doesn't have that much or wants to give more. I do like that idea.

I'm still confused as to why you can't give with the phone call though? If it's not your mod, then it's a bug because I can give still since the patch. Or do you mean you don't like the options with being give $1000 as one of the three choices?

Mine can do this in,different amounts via the computer, unlocks at certain level of Charisma. And I still get the phone calls asking to donate even if mine aren't a celebrity, if my sim doesn't have enough to donate I just hit the x to close out the call instead of saying no.

To answer all of your questions, I'm not getting the appropriate response. I don't mind my Sim giving §1000.00. My Hawkins family were well-to-do in their time frame (18th century) and my young rock star is already rolling in Simoleons, plus his father is filthy rich. The chance to give via the phone is what's out of order. I may have to pull my mods, in case one of them is interfering. Or, the person who helped me over on Discord is mistaken.

UPDATE: I pulled Slice of Life, and after a good couple of hours of playing my rock star game save, he finally got the "I'm sorry to bother you, but I heard what a good person you are …" phone call and he was able to give his usual §1000.00. I may put the mod back in leaving out a module to see what happens. Right now, it appears to be at least an element of the mod. Over at Discord, the person who was helping me suggested the EA bug and this SOL bug were reported at about the same time, leaving them to scratch their heads. I gave them as much information as I could from my game play and just reported to them that after pulling the mod, things went they way they always had.

Another UPDATE. I'm told over at her Discord, that KS has updated Slice of Life to allow for a person to donate. I've just now installed this updated version. I'll let you know if it works. :) Go, KS!

@GalacticGal, I was having issues with SOL and or The updated Education Mod (which I think has been updated again since) I was having trouble getting one sim to go to classes at uni. Took the mods out and worked fine. Hoping I have time to down load updated mods and try again. His baby is about to be a toddler and want to send to preschool lol

Now I want the 'give angry response' option, lol. But that mod has too many features and I don't feel like dealing with any additional bugs from ambitious mods.

I didn't know that was an option in the first place.
