Objects disappearing!

Thanks for the response. I hope they fix all the problems this pack has and not let it be like Island Paradise.

IP was great in a lot of ways. Added house boats, diving (true, underwater view diving, not a rabbit hole), boating, mermaids, and a beautiful world. BUT, the world had horrible routing issues that made it unplayable. Sims would repeatedly and randomly switch between walking, boating, and swimming to get somewhere which made it take longer. They would boat to places where they shouldn't be and get stuck. They frequently had route fails just walking around town. I think I had a sim live there once, then never again.

On a related note, I haven't noticed objects disappearing from my inventory, but I always sell anything I don't need or place it in my house. I have however, noticed objects disappearing from my lot. Usually stuff that was placed with MOO though.

At least in my game the vanishing of objects from the inventory is directly related to the Conservationst career. Every time I sent off a sample it would also send off another random item from my inventory, including the canoe. It's clearly a bug and hopefully will be fixed soon.

From my inventory no, from my houses sometimes.....

Thanks for all your responses. Don't get me wrong I loved Island Paradise when it came out but like lisamwitt said it had a lot of issues. I know Island Living just came out and I hope they can fix the things that are wrong with it. I have played since the first sims and don't plan to quit unless they quit making it. It's just frustrating some of the things that come up.

Yep, I've had that happen. Sim got promoted to Level 5 in the Conservation career, came home with a boat. Next day? Boat gone, gotta' buy another boat.

Perhaps you can find a bug report about this on Answers HQ?

"My First Simoleon" disappeared from the wall of my sim's bakery. But I think some sim just stole it lol
