Online connection issue for event (Xbox)

I am online and playing the game just fine BUT my next event quest is to build the ‘throne’ on the woodworking table & it’s not available (even though I am a handiness level 9 & it requires just an 8). So, I go to the UI event page to claim the throne and each time I do that it pops up with the fact that I need to be online….so I check my network (twice) and it’s fine. I restart the Xbox, I check for updates on the game page, I turned the Xbox off for 30mins and then back on….NOTHING is working. Anyone else having this issue?

    I just had a similar issue except i couldn't collect my rewards bc I "wasn't online." Hopefully its the same, I'm on ps5. Save n go to main menu, go to settings, other, and there should be a connect ea account button at the bottom. I had to restart my system but I'm online now!

    Same for me, and the option to connect online features is completely missing from the options menu. (Pardon the unsightly image attachment, but xbox takes hours to upload screenshots to the network in order to save them). I use kbm on console- mentioning to avoid confusion about having the issue on xbox while there's a cursor on the screen.

    Replying to my previous comment to add: I'm connected to the internet and online access is available for other games, and I don't have an underage account. The option to access the gallery and other features was available until today.
