Out of curiosity, would you buy a new computer just to play The Sims?

I played Sims 4 on a laptop in low graphics mode for two years until I had saved up enough for a good desktop. But Sims 4 wasn't even the main reason to get a new desktop - being able to play a mod heavy Sims 2 without crashing/freezing was.
