Outdoor Retreat or Jungle Adventure?

I understand your dilemma, the CAS and build/buy of JA is gorgeous. Why not do both. Buy Outdoor Retreat now and then when finances allow it buy Jungle Adventure. Granite Falls is beautiful, particularly the hidden area, and relaxing place to visit for your sim family. Your sims can fish (there are 5 unique fish that can be found only in Granite falls), go camping (the tents are only available in OR), gather insects, learn the herbalism skills and gather around the camp fire in the evening. When you get Jungle Adventures you find that a lot of the game play items from OR are really handy when you are exploring the jungle like the tents, the cooler, the portable furniture, the campfire and the insect repellent you can make with the herbalism.

I only have Outdoor Retreat right now; but if I had to choose now, I would say get Jungle Adventure! It looks amazing and has a lot more you can do. Also with Seasons, it with get like tropical thunder storms. I say that game packs have been getting more and more better has time goes on and Jungle Adventures is the only one I don't have yet as I had to wait because I got Cats and Dogs awhile back (planning on trying to get that along with Seasons if possible).

Outdoor Retreat isn't bad especially being the first game pack of the game. It does has it uses (tents, coolers, herbal skills etc....all of that can come in handy) and might look nice for Seasons; but Jungle Adventure seems to have more for the price. New dances, cultural traits, archaeology,gorgeous world and heard tombs and all that change during each trip, can get cursed with objects, etc....I suggest JA if you can't get both (though I do recommend Outdoor Retreat eventually as the one thing I like about Sims 4, the worlds and all the packs is how well they can world together and really enhance the game even more. Like being able to make bug repellent which will help with JA).

I just wanted to let everyone know that EA store seems to be having a sale. I just got Jungle Adventure for $14.99. I am not sure about Outdoor Retreat; but I assume it is also on sell. It might be a summer or special event thing since Seasons is coming out soon and sometimes there are summer sales.
