- LiELFSeasoned Ace@Rouensims see if your Origin needs an update. Close it out completely by going into task manager to make sure everything is shut down and then start it up again.
After I patched and repaired my game, I started it up and it ran horribly. It was choppy, lagging, stuttering...so I closed it to troubleshoot, went into firewall to make sure both Origin and Sims 4 were clear, went to start the game again and Origin had a quick, tiny update. My game ran perfectly fine after that.
I think Origin has been really wonky lately and is causing some trouble for people. "telmarina;c-17782469" wrote:

I'm hoping there is some bug fixes that haven't been included in the patch notes. It's disappointing to see no fix for the cooking instead of grabbing left overs, the resetting plants and others equally as annoying.
Heck would even take eating sitting out on the counter instead of making a new meal fix. It looks like a buffet in the kitchen as everyone serves their own meals.
There's a mod from littlemssam (i hope i wrote it well) that fixes that bug. It's on her/his small random mods. I've already tested it after the patch and it still works perfectly.
It annoys me greatly that a something a modder considers to be small/random manages to fix a bug that EA hasn't yet figured out how to fix after half a year. I also haven't played since Eco, because gardening and cooking are significant parts of my gameplay. On the positive side, I've used the money I would have spent on TS4 packs to repurchase all but two of my favorite TS3 packs. I'm having a blast with it -- I forgot how much fun it was.- WaytoomanyUIDsRising Scout@Elisetom As far as I can tell no obvious new bugs, just the plethora of old bugs they still didn't fix
@SueT Have you tried deleting the gamevesion.txt file in your The Sims 4 folder in Documents? Apparently it can get corrupted and that causes it to refuse to load mods. Sims 4 will recreate it if its missing. - LoanetRising Scout

Does anyone have any tips for triggering fear? I still haven't had a single sim scared
Two things are for sure - outside in thunderstorms, and the Vines in Strangerville (if you have Strangerville)
Paranormal Stuff has brought a range of Scared reactions. - SEREFRASSeasoned VeteranI always loved that scene from Ghostbusters II.
Here's a little freaky true story from my family; in 1912 my Great-Grandmother from my Father's side was planning a trip from Scotland to North America on Titanic, however one of her children got sick so she couldn't go. This happened 10 years before my Grandpa was born. If she had been able to make the trip there wouldn't be my Grandpa, my Dad, Me or my beautiful daughter.
Ok, back on topic, I'm making my sims brave so they can be Ghostbusters, Scooby Doo Gang, Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys & Esmeralda. - dianed485New ScoutIs anyone else disappointed with the fear emotion? I mean I'm glad they added fear to the game, but mostly I was hoping it would mean more interactions for my sims.
I was looking forward to the comforting aspect, but it's just your sim talking to another sim. Where are the hugs ??
I wanted parents reassuring and calming down their child !! We need more animations.
Also my other issue is sims are only scared of a few things, but they're not afraid of things you'd think they'd be afraid of :
- Vampires
- Ghosts
- Fires (Ok I understand they feel tense but they should be terrified too).
- They don't seem to worry about other sims either (again, let's say there's a fire at your home, you'd be scared your family got hurt). - MDianaSimsSeasoned HotshotI did notice a surprise fix - rave invites are back! Maybe not something everyone wanted, but I'm glad they're back, gets my sims out of the house :joy:

At least there is no mention about them on patch notes.
I'm currently downloading the patch and it's really, really slow. I probably won't repair my game after the download is ready, like I normally do. I'm afraid it's going to last for hours and fail again. - I'm downloading now but i had to leave it there so i have no idea if it's already done. I won't be able to play until tomorrow ?
About bug fixes, none of the ones i needed... - PhonecallzNew SpectatorAnyone else got some lag? I've just taken my Sim on a date and the game is very jittery. Hoping it might ease off after a restart...
