Paranormal stuff-Will they nerf it?

So will they do the usual thing, release the pack and then nerf it down as soon as they receive any complaints?! Please don't!
  • With Haunted Houses as a lot type with an actual warning that spooky stuff will happen,(which I honestly find hilarious)I can only pray that users who dont enjoy ghost occurances will have the sense needed not to use it. Though since some players insist on buying occult packs only for the build/buy and then cry 2 seconds later about all the occults in their game, I know better.

I think sharing is caring is good if you like a little extra weird chaos. make things challenging in an annoying way.

It quite literally makes the game unplayable, not exaggerating, it actually breaks lots. It's not fun.

Not unplayable for me, but it was so downright infuriating that I had to find a mod just to stop it. Now I like chaos for my sims. Builds? Not so much. I take a lot of pride in my builds and the last thing I want happening are sims going buckwild taking everything in sight, forcing me to have to go back and fix everything again and again. And I dont know what it is about that NAP but Im fairly certain its state law in my game since it occurs so much. That and "We wear bags". Why does that NAP always occur when Im in the mood to take good screenshots? ???

It has a hard mode and an easy mode, and three difficulty modes as it is in the active part. Theorestically if it's too hard for you, pick an easier mode.

Interestingly, the Freelance Writing Career has multiple 'difficulties'. But failing has almost no consequences and it's almost impossible to fail - sometimes you might have to edit a book, at worst you're left with a book that you'll just have to publish normally.

i hope they will as a player that is not into supernatural i think such content should not be impose on players that do not play supernatural or occult i am getting the pack solelyfor the hair clothes build buy content not the life state itself

But aren't you happy with having the option to not use the haunted house lot? If you're buying it only for bb and cas why would you need to use that specific lot type? If you decide to use it, then the supernatural content is not being imposed to you...

even if a lot would have that trait i would change it if my sim moved in such a lot as a player just do not fit with my playstyle

I'm sorry, could you explain what nerfing here means? Is it lowering chances?

    Thank you.

It seems likely it won't happen as it's an optional feature.

We've been told that houses grow gradually more haunted over time. But you can also commune with the spirits to keep it low. I'll put money on people saying it gets too much too fast though.

You can turn the haunted lot trait off, and also I think Haunted Lots have special traits, so if you're finding their traits are too heavy for you, change the traits.

These are the same people who voted for Laundry and then wanted it nerfing. I've tried laundry but my Sims are just too stupid to be able to handle laundry AND a job. But if you don't have washing machines, you don't get dirty laundry, so much for realism.

A little off topic and I never voted for laundry, but I did buy the pack and it just doesn't work that well for me anymore. I play vanilla, so it should function as well as it is going to. It is in all of my builds, so I mess with it fairly often, and it seems to have gotten more and more broken.

I think the first balancing problem was with hot and cold outfits. My sims change a lot more often with Seasons. Then IL and the improvement of water and addition of water activities. Have you ever tried to play off the grid in Sulani? I cannot keep sims from going in and out of the water all day. I had four different clotheslines and still couldn't keep up with six sims. Third, EL added ladders. Neither laundry nor trash go up and down them so you need to build a self contained ecosystem. It was the biggest headache of my first EL playthrough.

Finally, most recently, I think laundry just bugs out sometimes. Beyond carrying the bags upside down, my Sims flat out cannot add all the hampers' clothes into the washer at a time anymore. There seems to be major limits on how much can go in a load now (or it is bugged out), leaving me with three stinking hampers I cannot do anything with because I prioritize cleaning the floor.

So in regards to nerfing laundry, I think it just needs a rework in general because it is not working for me. I cannot imagine what can happen to players with mods.
