You'd be surprised what a nightmare 2 days of grieving can be for someone doing the 100 Baby Challenge. :D No baby making when Sims are Sad! Once that first generation of baby daddies begins to die off--to say nothing of the kids...!
But I hear ya. The emotion system is definitely lacking.
