The new filters haven't been added to small businesses or clubs; what about some of the new activities? In the live stream, I've seen something like "go climbing." That's not currently an option, even if you have fitness stuff or Snowy Escape.
Ah, you know, this raises me a question.
Usually with clubs, if there are multiple lots in the neighborhood, the club only does the activities within the lot.
With Getaways, will the sims autonomously interact with objects outside the lot?
Sims will do activities off lot if they are Scheduled and available in the area. This includes things like interacting with nature or using items in the loaded zone, including those on the open water and at festivals.
This is great news. I have already set up one of the vacation rentals in Mt. K. in the top neighborhood as a venue for a winter sports camp, so I'm hoping they will really go ski/snowboard/rock climb off lot.
Go Rock Climbing is in the Outdoor Category, but I think it's been there for a while?
Took a look and can confirm that it's there in the club rules section, but not in the Small Business section (which makes sense).
I also notice Outdoor Recreation and Enjoy the Outdoors. Outdoor Recreation is active stuff like climbing, jogging, swimming, catching butterflies etc. Enjoy the Outdoors has sims interact with outdoorsy stuff more like swimming, kayaking, bonfire, jogging, cloudgazing etc. So Enjoy the Outdoors includes most of the Outdoor Recreation activities (the only exclusion being rock climbing).
Then there's also Have Breakfast, Have Lunch, Have Dinner, Grab Quick Snacks, and Serve Meal. These are more self-explanatory I hope.
