Share Your Sentiment Gameplay

I have not played much but so far I have generated no sentiments with my current household. They are all adults and have established relationships though, so maybe they are past the triggers for most the non snowy escape sentiments. I'm leaning towards starting with a new family, with an evil hot headed father, family oriented mother and two toddlers and see how that goes.

I hope that they add more for the other packs as time goes on. Like one for sims who study together at university, or ones that club members can get with their fellow club members or sims from rival clubs, pet related ones for cats and dogs, ones for co-workers in get to work and get famous workplaces, etc. Most if not all of the expansion and game packs would have gameplay that could act as a good trigger for a sentiment.

Does anyone know if there is a list of sentiments anywhere yet?

I really want this added. A family history that you can't view in game is not really meaningful. If it was added I would happily go through all the npcs and give them biographies if Maxis didn't.

My sim had dinner with his child son and after 1 interaction they both said I find your company well. I hope you find mine as well. I thought that’s nice, but then right after his son started yelling at him ?no sentiment or anything from that at-least. Also do teen couples not get any sentiments? My teen was with her gf for the whole day and nothing happened

I’m getting a nice amount of sentiments between all kinds of sims. But there’s one slightly older adult couple who have woohood everywhere including the rocket ship, but they refuse to get any sentiments for each other. I guess the magic between them is gone. I’ll see what happens next time I play them.

My sim Tristan Sheridan(born in-game and married to one of my legacy sims) is very protective of his only daughter Nichole. He got the Adoring sentiment. I forgot what it said though.

I love the sentiments. I can't help wishing there was more of them though. Like I've seen sims divorce in front of their children and the children will have no sentiments towards the situation or their parents. It's like it doesn't even register as an event to them.

My only complaint about sentiments is that I love them so much I wish there was many more of them. I finally feel like my sims relationships are layered, different and that they bring incentive to play around with them more.

I like this update. It seems like the autonomy is improved as well. Sims aren't just going to grab glasses of water and to play on the computer constantly.

Right now, I'm playing a happier household. The YA was just graduating and had been dating her young-looking professor. They married and had a son. She comes from a close-knit family in my game so her parents come over a lot. The young couple found out they were expecting before they got married. Her dad came over, acted embarrassed and had an unhappy conversation with her baby daddy. It seemed more interactive than before.

I've generally seen the highly romantic sentiments because the couple were pairing off and now aren't that dramatic. Her parents and sister come over a lot and tend to talk with her. They have sentiments about memories. It's definitely better. Probably my only complaint is that the game crashed for the first time basically ever.

I can see how I'll have more negative sentiments, drama and arguments in some other households. I like that the couple autonomously takes a lot of interest in each other. I like the change and being able to do what I want with it. I agree that there should be more sentiments around babies.

Oh, I had a sim refuse to knit because she did not want to right before she gave birth. That was also a change.
