NO! The freedom to be able to move from world to world without my Sims losing their relationships is why I love TS4 so much. To go back to the closed world would be such a downgrade!
It's much more realistic for Sims to move from Newcrest to the big city, or Sulani, than it would be to have them stuck in the same world for the rest of their lives
