Sim Won't Get Abducted

The satellite dish needs to be upgraded at level 8 of the science career before the contact alien function will actually work. The option appears when you first invent it but it doesn't get you abducted. After the upgrade the chance is still random, and you have to activate it every day. The abduction is delayed, but if you keep contacting them daily you will eventually get abducted. Chance for pregnancy seems to be very small since the patch though.

Edit: Ok you need a space shuttle

Try having that Wormhole Generator. With this, my sim got abducted by alien, when she made an alien contact.

You guys could always download a mod that increases chances of being abducted and then remove it when your sim gets abducted :)
