I love simguruninja. He is my 2nd favourite after our forumguru @EA_Cade  He seemed the most engaged and genuinely caring towards the fans. He even responded to my tweets a few times a couple of years ago when I posted on twitter to the Sims team. The gurus on twitter are very nice and like to retweet or respond to fans. Now is a very hostile time in the player community. I think it's best they stay away from social media. Nothing worse than encountering angry customers during work, it can throw off your mood for the whole day. I do miss simguruninja's posts though, but I agree that their mental health should come first. Personally, I don't actually think they should address the wedding bugs in posts on twitter. Won't that be like throwing oil on fire? I really don't think they will start posting their opinions of why this pack has a lot of bugs, it will just create more drama. I do hope they continue to engage with the players and post news and updates in future when everything calms down again.
I personally don't really need an apology from the gurus. I guess a general letter from the Sims team would be okay, acknowledging the pack has problems and they are trying to fix it, but why wouldn't they be trying to fix it? That's their job and product. And they don't do apologies for any other packs with bugs. We can't expect public apologies from gurus every time we click on Sims and they don't do what we want them to do. Sad to say it, but then they will have to apologize every time they release something, since this game is prone to getting bugs. I just want them to continue to fix bugs across all the packs, not just this one. Actually, I want the restaurant and mannequin bugs fixed more than the wedding cake one, I already made an unperishable cake with the Fresh Chef trait, and the slow dance works if you turn autonomy off, other bugs can't be worked around with gameplay so I hope they prioritize those like the officiant, flower pal, wedding arch and then other bugs from other packs. I hope this silence is just their hard work and taking care of their mental health and we will get an awesome patch this month for lots of bugs across the series.
