It's a single player game meaning you aren't playing other real life people. Yes your sim can visit other people's houses and you can play those other people if you want to but you don't have to you can play your own soon. You going to manage worlds to play other people and click on a different family you want to control. You can also move other people in with your sim. You can play as many Sims as you want but only eight in each household. Have your sim get a career where you can fold into work if you want, Max have the skills, work on their aspirations, have them get married and have kids oh, really you can play however you want. And yes you can have them visit whatever world you want them to or move to any world.
