"The Sims 4 was designed to take more content" - yea, sure. More like it was designed to take more dumbed down content, because that's the only way they can release more add ons for this game. They portion it into very small bits so we have the illusion it's doing well, better than TS3 did, but the truth is, TS4 is just like any other sims game. It has its limits and I really can't see it lasting more than 6 years or so.
I'm sure 2019 is not the last year for TS4 but speculating about a decade long lifespan is just ridiculous.
