Always sale the time capsules without opening (unless you specifically looking for MySims Trophies, and don't really care about money). The time capsule is worth 70$, but every common figure is not worth even half of that. Uncommon one are woth basically the same money as the capsule itself, or a little less. Only the rare ones give profit, but well, they're rare - so there are bigger chances that you'll loose money by opening.
